Roach Control

If you have come here to find a way to get rid of Roaches, you have come to the right place as we offer a myriad of roach control products that are all professional grade cockroach killer products. One of the most common found pests indoors and outdoors, roaches are known to be one of the most repulsive looking insects. Not only are they disgusting look-wise, but they could also carry and transmit bacteria. Moreover, the bacteria transferred can also lead to food poisoning. Not a lot of people are aware, but we can be allergic to them. Roaches are commonly linked to asthma. Roaches can usually be found outside near residences and food establishments. When a cockroach settles in, the breeding will start. Did you know that roaches are capable of reproducing thousands of eggs. Development rate is rather slow compared to other insects taking anywhere from a couple of months to a year. Adult roaches can live up to 4-5 years. For more information on how to get rid of Roaches or the appropriate cockroach killers for the most effective cockroach control, please continue to read or feel free to contact us.

Cockroach Control

Before thinking about how to kill Roaches with the right cockroach killer, you must understand their behavior and be able to identify the right species. This will help you obtain the best methods of cockroach control that will be effective for an extended period of time rather than just scaring them off. Roaches are adaptable insects and can adjust well with our environment. Where do roaches reside, you ask? Usually, roaches are in close proximity of food and warm moisture. Due to these "always" readily available sources, roaches are expected to be present unless the proper pest control is applied. By knowing where they will congregate the most, you are able to gain a better understanding of how to kill Roaches more effectively, because you will be able to use the appropriate cockroach killer according to location.

How to Get Rid of Roaches

People are constantly on the hunt for cockroach killers or cockroach control products that will eradicate these roaches and sadly, most people do fail; given the fact that the biological makeup of roaches is one that is conducive to adapting. If left untreated, roaches will reproduce, breeding more and more. Our patrons need to be aware that roach infestations are unlike any other. If a person wants to get rid of roaches for good, they need to soley depend on definitive professional cockroach control products. There are various ways to go about roach control and management. We carry some of the best cockroach killer products or professional grade cockroach control products that are available on the market. One of the most common ways to get rid of roaches effectively is to use roach baits. Roaches scurry for food all the time, so what better way to control roaches than to poison them with food attractants. Cockroach baits, when placed and used properly, can be the solution you've been looking for to effectively handle your roach pest problems. Placement is key when using roach baits. Without the proper placement, baits are useless. Some ideal areas for roach baits include under fridges, stoves, dishwashers, sinks, toilets, near trash cans, storage areas, cabinets and other unseen crevice areas.

Roach Killer

Of course there are other ways to manage your roach pest problems such as roach insecticide sprays, wettable powders, roach glue traps, granules and insecticide dusts. Speaking of dusts, boric acid dust is considered one of the most effective ways to fight off cockroaches. Just a small application is needed for strong toxic potency. Boric acid is an odorless lethal insecticide to roaches while low in toxicity to people and untargeted animals.

  • How to kill Roaches with Roach Sprays
From sprays to liquid insecticides, roach sprays are a common way to get rid of your roaches.
  • How to kill Roaches with Wettable Powders
Powder form insecticides that can be mixed with water. Great for cracks and crevices.
  • Boric Acid Dust
Boric acid is considered one of the best ways to handle your roach infestations. A small application is all that is required.
  • How to Kill Roaches Roach Gel Baits
Roaches thrive off food. Poison roaches with professional gel bait food attractants.
  • How to kill Roaches with Insecticide Granules
Granules are another great way to handle your roaches but mainly for outdoor use.
  • How to Kill Roach Traps
As easy as set and forget, trap roaches with traditional glue board traps.

Q. roach control?
i like to get the best product to eliminate roaches inside the house that will not harm kids or pets
A.  Thank you for contacting us with your question. In areas with small children or pets the Maxforce FC Cockroach Bait Stations would be the safest product to use for German Roaches (1/2 inch in size).

However if you are infested with larger roaches (1 inch ), larger roaches nest outdoors and only forage indoors in search for food. Therefore you will have to do a thorough treatment around the outer perimeter of your home. Out door treatment will help you to keep their numbers to a minimum.

Q. Best course of action for roaches?
I live in Missouri and my residence is infested with roaches. I've been looking at the products here, what would you recommend to use to kill these little intrusive pests? The powder seemed to be good as far as I've read, but it gets rather humid here i would think it makes the powder useless wouldn't it or would it still be effective? I would prefer not to use smoke bombs.
A.  Smoke bombs (foggers) do not provide long term control for roach control. Also, it depends on what type of species of cockroaches you have for the dust to prove effective. If you have a species that nests indoors then the dust may be effective. If you have a species that lives outdoors, a liquid concentrate spray like Cy-Kick must be sprayed as a barrier around the perimeter of the house. Also, the most effective for all species of roaches is to use a bait type of insecticide like a gel bait in the inside or granular bait on the outside. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

Q. better Product for roaches? ?
which is the better stuff for roaches? i am looking for something that will kill fast & not harm my 2 dogs.
A.  The best type of control for roaches is to use a bait type of insecticide rather than a contact kill. Maxforce roach bait gels are a great product for roach control and longterm, you will find that it is more effective than contact kill liquid concentrate insecticides for roach control.

Q. kill roaches?
how to kill cockroaches
A.  If you are having problems with cockroaches inside the home, you are probably seeing the smaller, brown, German roaches.

The bigger cockroaches that run about 1in long are American roaches that come from the outside.

Cockroaches inside the home are attracted to a water source and so you may be seeing them the most in the kitchen or bathroom.

The most effective products we have for roaches are bait gels. Bait gels may be squeezed out manually from syringes or purchased by the station which may simply be placed in areas with infestation.

Gel baits have a delay-kill effect and may be more effective that the instant kill spray or fogger.

Q. Help with roaches?
I moved in to a low income Apartment a month ago within a day I was seeing roaches about every place I looked and even in places I didn't the landlord has had someone come in and spray for the roaches it helps for up to 3 to 4 days then I'm back to sleeping with these things. It just came to my attention that they are not spaying all the apartments (9 in all) only the ones that people let them in to spray I really need help in getting something that will really work for my apartment I have a 6 month lease that I can't get out of, what would I use. Also when my lease is up is there anything that I can buy to make sure I do not take the roaches with me I would love to take my couch bed but I fear that I may have to leave it all behind. I live in battle creek Michigan if u could help me in find what I can use and will work I would be very grateful.
A.  Hello, you should use Maxforce FC roach bait gel together with the Gentrol Aerosol with IGR for the best result. Here are direct links to the products.

Maxforce FC roach gel

Gentrol Aerosol with IGR

After you apply the Maxforce FC roach gel, you might see more roaches because it is a bait gel after all.

However, do not remove the gel or kill roaches up to 3 to 5 days because the gel works through both ingestion and contact, knocking down roaches that eat or simply touch the bait. Either way, one contaminated roach kills others.

Also, Gentrol Aerosol with IGR is formulated to stop reproduction and eliminate the roach eggs. After you treat your apartment, you should be safe to move with your couch and bed.

Q. HOW DO I USE BROIC ACID POWER TO KILL THE ROACHS ITS IS SMALL ROACHS DO I MIX IT IN WATER AND THEN SPRAY IT AROUND THE HOUSE ... I DO NOT HAVE TOO MUCH BUT I DONT LIKE THEM AROUND THE HOUSE !!!! ?
A.  Boric Acid Powder is a dust material that is applied as it is and left alone so that the roaches can ingest the poison and die on contact. You may also want to consider using roach baits like gel baits or bait stations. Baits will provide you with a domino effect where roaches will share the poison primarily by feces.

Q. cockroach in my kitchen?
Thank you kindly. Just have a question regarding the application of the maxforce gel: Do I need to move items out of my cabinets and drawers before placing gel bait there? I am experiencing (for the 1st time) a cockroach infestation in my kitchen. I called a "professional" pest control tech to my home for the roach issue and it did not place a dent in resolving the problem. Not sure what products / chemicals were used for the treatment. I do know that he dusted (using a white powder) and he also used granules; lots of granules. Please advise.
A.  Hi there! You actually do not have to remove everything out of the cabinets when you are applying bait gels. If you have a German roach infestation they are likely to live 3-5 feet from a water source so I would focus treatment around those areas. Be sure to store away any competitive food sources which may compete with the Roach Bait Gels!

Q. roaches in house?
I have discovered cockroaches in my attic and one in my kitchen. I also have what I thought was big beetles but now may this it is also a cockroach. What is the BEST product(s) to use to bait and kill these bugs. Also, when you do this order, I need more of the Dupont Advion (4 pack). I have bought 2-4 packs so far and it has seemed to reduce these ants a lot but I do not seem to be able to finish them off. Is there something else I need? Please send me the recommended products I have purchased from you in the past
A.  Well, no bait is really better than another, but one of the most popular baits for cockroaches are actually made by the same company as the baits you are using for ants. Dupont Advion makes a bait for roaches as well, which are very effective and can be placed in target areas like the kitchen, bathroom, and other areas. As for the Dupont Advion Roach bait, you may not be able to clear up the infestation because of bait placement. You really need to target the nest and get the baits as close to the target as you can. If the nest is outdoors, consider using the Ant No More bait stations and placing them close to the nest or use a concentrate insect to to a mound treatment on the colony.

Q. how to get rid of roaches?
Hi, Last night my wife and I where sleeping and I thought I felt something and then it went away, It did it a 2nd time and I told my wife I felt something and she was like it's nothing just go to bed, Well the 3rd time I felt something and I jumped out of the bed And my wife was like WHAT, I said baby there is a roach in are bed, She was still laying in the bed while I was out, Then here comes the roach from under the covers and goes up my wife's leg and then up a little higher haha And she went crazy haha, Anyway I just want to buy something that WORKS. So can you please help me thanks. Josh
A.

Hi Josh,

Thank you for the very amusing story. Similar thing happened to me once, but I was on the computer late at night and had a roach crawl up my leg, then fly away. Of course, I went crazy as well.

Anyways, for indoor roach control, we have the MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel. This is a very effective product as customers seem to love it and we never received any complaints about it. It works as an ingestion kill and a contact kill. The roaches can carry it back to their nesting areas, killing off the source.

Roaches are also carnivorous and will eat other dead roaches. If a roach ingests this gel and dies, and another roach eats that dead roach, the poison that is inside the dead roach's stomach will poison the live roach as well.

The active ingredient, fipronil, inside the MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel is very safe-- one of the safest on the pest control supplies market. It is safe for your pets as well. You can apply this gel anywhere, areas where you usually see the roaches. Try not to have any other foods out to eliminate bait competition.

If your infestation is heavy, you should start seeing results in about a week. If it is a small infestation, you will see results in about 2-3 days. The gel, once applied, will stay most effective for up to 2 weeks, but is still effective for up to a month.

Here is a link where you can directly purchase the MaxForce FC Roach Bait Gel

If you have any questoins on how to apply or use this product, you can always call and ask us on our hotline: 1-800-788-4142. Our business hours are Monday-Saturday [9A.M.-7P.M.] If there is any other way I can assist you, please let me know. Thank you!

Q. Roaches in computer repair store!?
Hi, I work in a computer repair store. It is a small building but business is great. I have had a few computers in with dead roaches, or evidence of roaches (their sheddings) but never have I ever seen one as bad as I experienced yesterday. My wonderful boss is the one who discovered them when he opened up the computer so we could further diagnose the computer, I saw them too, and I opened the front door and he ran the computer outside and we stomped on all the ones coming out (there were ALOT!) and then he had me take the air compressor and blow them out until we thought they were gone. My boss said by the look of them they were German cockroaches. There were eggsacks upon eggsacks and I think the computer had some sort of nest because there was a little dust/dirt pile in one corner of it, Eventually He and I both thought the computer was clean so we brought it inside! Big mistake! Since then, Ive seen over 20-30 roaches (since yesterday) in the office, I dont know what to do, I want to be a good employee because I love my job and I have an awesome boss but Im deathly terrified of these monsters, I read on your page that bombing doesnt help much and thats what he plans on doing to fix it. Is there anything I can do? I want these suckers GONE! PLEASE HELP!
A.  The best type of roach product to use for German roaches is to use a bait poison. Gels and bait stations alike have a "domino effect" in killing roaches. Advion and Maxforce has very popular and effective roach gel baits and roach bait stations. Since you have a store that houses devices like computers, bombing or spraying may not be the most effective in that they might damage your materials. That is also something to consider when you begin roach treatment. For more information, please feel free to give us a call at 1-800-788-4142.

Q. can roaches fly?
Im the girl who wrote u about working in a comuter store, I wanted to also ask if they fly because i saw one with wings and I swear it flew (for a short period) but it flew!
A.  German roaches cannot fly, although they do have wings. All species of roaches are winged though. Most of the indoor roaches will not be able to fly but there are a few large, outdoor roaches are able to fly short distances.

Q. I once hired Sears Once a Year Pest control and they came out and put a touch of gel in different location throughout the house. In about 2 weeks it was impossible to find a living roach in that house and it WAS SERIOUSLY INFESTED!!! The only problem was the 1500 dollars they charged. Do you have a product that will work that good and if so which one??
A.  We have several different kinds of cockroach gel baits. The most popular baits that are used are Dupont Advion Roach Bait gel and Maxforce Magnum Roach Gel.

Q. Is it safe around house pets??
A.  If you are referring to spray products, they are safe around pets once they dry after application. For gels, you may want to treat areas where the pets will not have access to, such as cracks and crevices, under furniture/appliances, under the sink, etc.

Q. how do we rid of this unidentified CockRoach??
All our lives we have cohabitated with "The American CockRoach" We reside in North Central Alabama. Our problem is an unidentified relative of this American CockRoach. The CockRoach we are believing to be resistant to the chemicals normally used on Americaan CockRoach, is NOT killing this specie. It is exactly like American CockRoach, it however, is totally black. Absolutely no browns or other colors. Just like the American, only black. Whats it going to take to kill these suckers? House has been sprayed 6 times in 3 months. These are new to our area, never seen before now.
A.  99% of American roaches come from outdoors. We recommend using items such as the Demon WP or Lambdastar 9.7 to spray indoors and outdoors. These pesticides control general house pests, so it should be effective for the roach you are dealing with. Roaches cannot survive without moisture. It will be important to find the moisture sources and spray around the area. We recommend spraying around mulches, pine straws, bushes, door/window frames, etc.

Q. roaches/flies?
is demand cs better than demand wp?whats the best 4 these bugs
A.  Demand CS is a micro-encapsulated product and has a longer residual. Demon WP is a wet-able powder form that leaves behind a residue. If you are using the product both indoors and outdoors, Demand CS may be a better choice. Both will be effective for roaches and flies.

Q. What is the best roach killer to use around 2 kids and 2 dogs??
Every other night I had been finding a roach in our laundry room when I go in to check on laundry in the late evenings. I've never seen more than 1 in one place at a time. However this last week it has been everyday!! (only 1, but still)! I have 2 kids (3 & 6) who's room is closest to the laundry room. I've tried sealing cracks but they manage to find a way in. I've thought about spraying where I believe is their entry point but worry because it is VERY close to an old neon type light fixture. What do you suggest? I'd GREATLY appreciate your response.
A.  We recommend using a bait gel such as the Advion Roach Bait Gel. You can apply the product into cracks and crevices, as well as along the baseboards of the room.

Q. does the dupont advion roach gel works when it dries up in a day or so?
A.  After application, Dupont Advion Roach Gel will remain active for about 2-3 weeks. It should be replaced after that time because dust build up and other debris build up can cause the bait to be ineffective.

Q. I need some advice on how to get rid of cockroaches while living in an duplex with cats??
Recently me and my boyfriend and our two cats moved in to a duplex/4plex. We had noticed when we first moved in a roach problem, so we informed our landlord. They have had a professional come out every month and spray since we have been there, which has been 4 months. We are clean people,no dirty dishes in the sink,no trash, food or even water left out(we found out the cat food needs to be put away at night).I clean and wipe down my counters everyday. We also have gone as far as getting a bunch of roach motels for our apt. but it seems like ever since one of our neighbors moved out the problem has gotten ten times worse.I guess my landlord found a roach trap in the neighbors fridge....yeah.I really want these nasty bugs gone and its hard to use many products seeing as I have two cats.My last resort that I was going to do was get the powder for outside the unit, use new traps(also wasnt sure how long those actually work???),lots of the traps,Maxforce gel everywhere and any where, and take my cats in to work for a day to de-fog the apt.,But I am not just doing this to my apt., but also for the other 2 in my building and try to send all the bugs to the last apt. in my unit because they seem not to have the problem(which I am sure thats where all these roaches are coming from)Please someone help me I feel like I am losing my mind!!Any other ways of riding these bugs whether it be a home remedy or a product that you can buy in the store??
A.  Depending on the species of roaches, control methods will change. It sounds like you have a German roach infestation, but unfortunately, our assumption may not be accurate since we do not have a physical description. Baiting and insecticides used in conjunction with each other is the best way to control roaches. We recommend Suspend SC and Dupont Advion Roach Gel. We do not recommend fogging as it is not as effective as a controlled method of treatment. Suspend SC is a liquid concentrate that is diluted with water and sprayed onto surfaces like the baseboard, under the appliances like the stove, refrigerator, and laundry machines, around door frames, around window frames and etc. Treated areas are safe for reentry after the product has completely dried, even for your cats. Baits are applied in areas like under the cabinets, under the sink, behind the toilet, on counter tops, and etc. Usually, since roaches do not travel out in the open, baits should be applied to corners and not in the middle of open spaces. Although baits are fairly mild, we do not recommend applying the baits in areas where your cats can access. Baits should be reapplied every three to four weeks. Bait hotels or bait stations usually only fit smaller roaches like the German Roaches and so if you have an outdoor roach problem, they will not be able to fit inside the bait stations. If you have any other questions, feel free to give us a call at 1-800-788-4142.

Q. best way to kill cockroaches?
cockroaches & an invalid in the home who cannot be exposed to toxins. Any suggestions?
A.  Unfortunately, it requires insecticides to control cockroaches. However, we do recommend the baits. You can use gel baits or bait stations. We would like you to keep in mind though that the baits are the most effective for indoor roaches, roaches that nest and breed indoor, like German Roaches. We recommend the Dupont Advion Roach Gel or Dupont Advion Roach Bait Stations. Outdoor roaches though, require chemical control.

Q. I NEED A FAST CLEAN OUT PRODUCT?
Hi i live in an apartment in Georgia where I've been living in for 2 years now. Last year when I moved in I spoted a minor bit of roaches in the kitchen as where they usually are found, and tried the AVION Gel Bait since I had my newborn in the house and it got rid of them for a while then came back. tried again this year for the second time and I saw little effect. I tried again for the third time and NOTHING. It seems that they've gotten imune to it and brought even bigger gquantaties because they are in every corner of my house! They get into everything and everywhere even though I clean everyday. Its very unpleasant walking into a room and literraly seeinh the floor and walls appliances ect COVERED in thoes filthy insects. Now that my baby is walking around I'm concerned about his health as well as my 8 year old. I need a quick clean out first and then focus on controling I think. Please help me choose something like this since I have a very heavy infestation of american roaches and need them out ASAP!!! Keeping in mind the saftey my children
A.  First and foremost, it is hard to eradicate a cockroach infestation in an apartment building because they are able to travel between apartments through the wall void area. Dupont Advion Roach Gel Bait uses an active ingredient that roaches cannot build a tolerance to. If it is not effective, the shelf life of the material may near its end. Unfortunately, we do not have a fogging type of insecticide that will help you clean out the infestation. We recommend that you continue to use baits for German Roaches and if Advion is not working for you, we recommend the Maxforce Magnum roach baits.

Q. PLEASE help...?
I have a problem and need fast help please. I have never had a roach in the 12 yrs I have owned my home. I recently got custody of a child that had lived in a unsanitary home situation. I did not bring anything to my home except a car seat and a bag with 3 diapers and 1 bottle. Next day I noticed a roach in my vehicle. Long story short, within 2 weeks I have a MASSIVE infestion in my vehicle, garage and home. When I noticed the cpl bugs I thru the car seat out...obviouslly it was completely full of roaches. I sprayed the car and in 20 mins killed over 50. Iam unsure which type but I think bout the american and german. I need help on what to use for house and car. PLEASE help with advice...I cant tolerate them but I can not allow this precious child to live around that. Thats partially why I have her now. Being on a fixed income I need to best product to help this please. Thank you in advance.
A.  Depending on the roach species, the way you will treat them is different. The best indoor roach control product that we can recommend to you is the Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel. It can be applied in both the inside of a house and in the garage. It is applied in pea-sized amounts every foot to a foot and a half apart. As for inside the car, the only thing that we can recommend is to continue using an aerosol spray. Cy-Kick Aerosol has a short residual of about 1-2 weeks and so that is the spray that we recommend so that you do not have to apply everyday. It should only be applied on the floor of the car and under the seats as well as the back dash but not on the seats themselves. It can also be applied in the trunk. The car should be left vacant for the first couple of hours after application and the car should be ventilated for at least 1 hour after that. Since there is no valid food source for them inside the car, we do not believe they will be able to survive long inside the car.

Q. what is a roach motel??
A.  Roach motel is a common name for roach bait station. Roach bait stations are prebaited, plastic, tamper-free stations that the smaller species of roaches (German roaches and Brown Banded Roaches) will enter to forage on the bait as food and leave. They do not trap the roaches inside, but simply serve to protect the bait that is already in there. Common roach motels that are sold in hardware stores and other stores like Walmart have baits that are low in toxicity in comparison to professional grade bait stations.

Q. I have a roach problem and live in a mobile home and i have tried all kind of roach poisins including foggers but they seem to be immuned to them and was wanting to know how good are foggers and which one would u suggest and how would i need?
A.  Actually, we do not recommend foggers for roach control. Although they provide a short term relief with the instant knockdown kill, there is no lasting effect. For indoor roach control, we recommend using cockroach bait gels like the Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel. Gel works well because it has almost a domino effect and you can target the nest without actually finding it.

Q. get rid of roaches fast and safely for kids ?
A month ago I noticed roaches in my bedroom I put roach traps but haven't seen much of a difference! My son is 7months old and he has a wood crib I've seen roaches coming out of the crib what can I use that's safe for my son? Thank you in advance
A.  We recommend roach bait gel like the Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel or roach bait stations like the Maxforce FC Roach Bait Stations. Bait gels can cling to surfaces like underneath the crib, under cabinets and sinks, behind appliances, and etc. The stations are prebaited plastic stations that are safe to use around children. Keep in mind that the stations only fit smaller roach species and so if you have the large, outdoor roaches, they will not fit inside the bait station. All product labels should be reviewed before using any pesticides, even bait gels and bait stations.

A.  It will depend on what products you are using. They can be used during the same time, however, the location of where you apply each product will be different. For instance, you cannot apply the liquid concentrate insecticide and the gel bait in the same area. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

I bought a used chest and after i brought it home i realized it had roaches. I cleaned it thoroughly with 409 and next day bought kill on contact spray from OSH. Its been 10 days since i got the chest and I have seen a total of 4-5 roaches ( all individually at different places on different days). I have been spraying the house/bedrooms/baseboards/kitchen cabinets/around appliances (not moving them around)/bathroom/bedroom closets (not removing clothes). Its hard to find roaches. I dont know which kind they are. I think they are german. They are not too big around half inch and are thin. I dont know how many would i have and where are they. But I am sure they are some where, i try to sneak on them and find them in the middle of night and cannot find any after i turn on the light and go check on them in kitchen and bathroom. I dont know what should i do ? I have been spraying every other day (bought some orchard spray from OSH). I have a 4 year old. I dont see them everywhere like other posts have mentioned but I want to do something before it gets out of control. I dont mind spending on professional exterminators but i want to be sure its worth spending on them and if its something that I can take care of, i would like to know how to do that. Please respond.
A.  Indoor cockroach pest control mainly consists of using baits like gel baits and bait stations. Although long residual sprays are effective, baits are especially so because it is a method of treatment that will help you target the nest without actually finding it. We recommend using the Dupont Cockroach gel bait in conjunction with the Maxforce roach bait stations. The roach bait stations are safe to use around your child in corners of rooms, including closets, bathrooms, and kitchens. The bait stations are prebaited bait holders that are protected with a tamper free cover. Gel baits should be placed in cracks and crevices and in areas that the child cannot access. These areas will primarily be underneath the cabinets, underneath the sinks in the bathrooms and kitchen, on the utility pipes of the laundry machines, behind toilets and even under and behind large appliances like the refrigerator and stove. Q. Is alpine roach gel safe for pregnant women??
I live in an apartment complex and the company that exterminates here uses this product. I had no idea that they had used it so I walked around my house barefoot. Is it this product safe for use around pregnant women?
A.  Gel baits cling to surfaces and should be applied as a spot treatment in cracks and crevices and areas like under the sink, behind the toilet, under cabinets, baseboards, and etc. It is made of a fairly non-toxic active ingredient and so it is safe to use if it applied correctly. Since it is a gel material that clings onto surfaces, it should remain immobile and not spread throughout the house. Walking barefoot is not going to be harmful. Q. can you kill cockroaches by leaving furniture boxes outside to freeze them to kill them.?
A.  Freezing cockroaches outdoors may work only if you keep the boxes out for a couple of weeks. It is not an instant knockdown at all. There is also a high chance that the cockroaches will probably escape the box before it is killed in the cold temperatures. If you have any further questions or comments, please feel free to contact us again.

A.  You definitely want to inspect the boxes very carefully before you bring the boxes inside to your new home. You should also check your furniture, especially the appliances like your microwave and laundry machines. This will be the most important part of preventing a roach infestation. Q. Apartment Roaches?
I live in an apartment building with three floors. Someone moved in and brought roaches to all of us. Management sprays once o month, but only one floor each month. It does not even slow the little demons down. Recently, the exterminator told me that they couldn't be stopped where people smoked; said nicotine neutralized the chemicals. Is this true? What can I do to get them out of here?
A.  I am not sure if the nicotine statistic or information is true or not. It is difficult to treat apartment homes because all tenants should be proactive in treating the infestation. For your particular unit, we recommend treating the wall void with a dust product like Delta Dust or Mother Earth Dust. This is because the roaches will utilize the wall void space to travel from unit to unit. In the living space like the kitchen, bathrooms, and laundry rooms, we recommend using a gel bait like the Dupont Advion Roach Bait Gel. Bait gel is the most effective because they will spread the active ingredient. It is important that your unit is clean at all times. Left over food that is left out and even grease on the stove should be cleaned and disposed of at all times. A.  Yes, Permethrin SFR is labeled to target roaches. Because of the residual effect this product carries, it may result in a delay kill reaction.
